Industry leading fleet compliance training.

Sept 25-26, 2024

Indianapolis, IN

**THE FALL 2024 BOOTCAMP IN INDIANAPOLIS IS SOLD OUT. SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER FOR DETAILS ABOUT FUTURE BOOTCAMPS!

In military parlance, "bootcamp" describes an intense basic training aimed at equipping service members with the basic tools necessary to perform the roles that will be assigned to them throughout their service. Trucksafe's Fleet Compliance Bootcamp adapts that idea to folks involved in fleet safety & compliance, providing cutting-edge, in-depth and in-person DOT compliance training to equip those folks with the tools they need to run succesful compliance programs.

What we do...

Demystifying DOT Compliance

Fleet Compliance Bootcamp is an immersive, two-day conference for trucking company owners, safety professionals, and risk advisors to gather and learn precisely how to develop and maintain cutting-edge fleet safety & compliance programs. Through collective brainstorming, networking, education, case studies, exercises, and ongoing support, attendees leave equipped to not only get their fleets compliant but to build industry-leading programs.

The Bootcamp takes place at locations across the U.S. Participation is limited (usually to between 60-80) to allow for a more collaborative and hands-on learning experience. Specific dates and locations are announced approximately 3 months in advance.

Bootcamp helps attendees kick start their DOT compliance programs. Whether you're entirely new to DOT safety regulations and building a safety program from scratch, transitioning into a compliance-related role, or have years of experience under your belt, Bootcamp is the place for you. Discover the keys to building effective safety management controls, policies, and procedures to keep your fleet compliant and out of the crosshairs.

Throughout Bootcamp, the team from Trucksafe Consulting, LLC and special guests share their personal and unique experience working with motor carriers of all types and sizes to build some of the most robust and cutting-edge safety programs in the U.S. What's more, they offer practical advice and tips to help attendees do the same.

Most importantly, Bootcamp is NOT a typical conference where you take notes, go home and then try to figure out how to manage a compliance program on your own. Instead, it is about applying what you learn while you are at the event, making important connections with like-minded safety professionals, and equipping you with the tools you need to put your knowledge to practice back home.

Hear from past attendees!

FAQs

  • Who benefits from these courses?
Our courses are designed with the busy business owner, safety team and/or driver in mind. Our safety team course is ideal for new (or seasoned) safety managers, associates, or dispatchers who are in need of a primer (or refresher) on all things DOT safety. Our driver course is the perfect tool for driver safety meetings or refresher training. Our reasonable suspicion course satisfies the regulatory training requirement for driver supervisors. And our mini courses are great for targeted driver or safety manager remedial training.
  • How often is the course content updated?
Our courses are updated routinely to account for significant rule or policy changes.
  • Why Trucksafe Academy?
If you've searched for DOT compliance training, you know the struggle of trying to find a single source for relevant, up-to-date content that isn't sold a la carte. Trucksafe Academy eliminates the guesswork by providing comprehensive courses, covering the most relevant and critical DOT compliance topics.
  • How will these courses help my business?
Non-compliance is costly. Carriers whose safety programs are not up to snuff face civil penalties, vehicle/driver out-of-service orders, and even company-wide shut downs. Our courses equip you, your safety team, and your drivers with the basic regulatory knowledge and tools they need to avoid DOT enforcement and keep you up and running.
  • How are the courses structured?
Each of our courses is broken down into chapters that cover critical DOT regulatory topics (e.g., DOT registration, insurance, driver qualification, hours of service, maintenance and inspection, CSA/SMS, drug/alcohol testing). Each chapter contains a series of individual video lessons covering specific issues within the broader topic area, along with helpful document downloads. Once you complete a chapter, you will have the chance to test your newfound knowledge through a simple quiz!
  • How long does it take to complete a course?
Your course content is available to you for 12 months after you enroll, but can be completed at your own pace. Our driver and safety manager courses feature 20+ video lessons. You could complete these in a couple of days if desired or spread it out over time. Mini courses and our reasonable suspicion course run between 1 and 2 hours.
  • What content is covered in the courses?
Each course is unique and provides only the most relevant and up-to-date material. Generally speaking, topics include DOT registration, general compliance, insurance, driver qualification, hours of service, vehicle maintenance, drug/alcohol testing, DOT enforcement, CSA/SMS, safety ratings, and more. Be sure to check out our individual courses to view the curriculum.
  • Do you offer volume pricing to companies with multiple enrollees?
Yes! If you are a motor carrier looking to enroll your safety team members or drivers in our courses, we do offer volume discounts. We also offer enterprise subscription pricing for companies looking to enroll their entire workforce. Please contact us for details.
  • I need more specific advice. Can you help?
While our course material covers a wide array of DOT regulatory topics, it is necessarily more generalized in nature. If you need advice specific to your particular operations or circumstances, please contact us.
